​No. The patterns are unique and once you have purchased a pattern it automatically disappears from the platform and cannot be purchased by anyone else until the license expires. The license extends for three (3) years and during that time the right of use is yours, then it reverts back to the designer who has the right to sell the pattern to someone else.

When you click “buy” on a pattern, it automatically appears in your shopping cart. Click on the shopping cart in the top right corner. From there you can choose to proceed to checkout.

When the payment is complete, the file can be downloaded under My Account – Downloads. Click Download and the file will be downloaded to your computer. If you have not chosen a specific location to save the file, you should find the file in the “Downloads” folder on your hard drive.

Start by checking the file format of the pattern you bought; we convey designs made in Illustrator (vector graphics) and Photoshop (pixel graphics). Open the file with the program it was created in, .ai in Illustrator or .psd in Photoshop.

When the purchase is completed, the right of use is granted on a license by the designer for 3 years, see our terms of use for more information. This means that you can use and change the pattern however you want during the time period that you hold the right of use. Under each pattern, it is stated whether the designer’s name may be published in connection with the product.

If you want to continue using the pattern after 3 years, you can contact The Pattern Agency to extend the agreement or the designer will reach out to you. If not the full right of use reverts back to the designer automatically. The designer can then choose to sell the pattern to another customer.

Please note that copyright always remains with the designer.

Upon purchase, the right of use is granted by the designer to your company for a period of 3 years. You are free to adapt the pattern as needed. For more information see our terms of use.
